The Minnesota Timberwolves (2-0) face the Los Angeles Lakers (1-1) on Sunday at Staples Center.
Minnesota just had an impressive 116-111 victory Saturday over the Utah Jazz, led by D’Angelo Russell’s 25 problems and six assists. Jazz erased the two-digit credit of the Timberwolves in the last quarter, but the team emerged victorious thanks to the overall effort of the Wolves. Five players scored double-digits, adding rookie goalkeeper Anthony Edwards, who continued to impress after scoring 18 effective points for the Timberwolves.
Meanwhile, the Lakers recently won 138-115 over the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day. Lakers star Lebron James had a double-double in the game with 22 problems and 10 rebounds, while Anthony Davis contributed 28 issues, the best game of the game.
This is the first time the Wolves will face the 2020 NBA champions this season, with the assembly on February 16, 2021 in Minnesota.
