NEW YORK CITY (TND) – Recently ousted New York State Congressman George Santos criticized New York City Mayor Eric Adams in a fiery video posted to social media on Wednesday.
Santos demanded the mayor “resign in disgrace” over his administration’s handling of crime, which the former congressman claims allowed his car to be broken into this week.
“Do you need to know what I got for Christmas?” asked Santos in the video shared on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “Mayor Adams, so smart to lead this city. The Christmas gift I won is. . . This is a first for me. I never thought I’d enjoy this in my life, but I guess we’re back in New York in the ’70s. “
He then turned to point to his vehicle with the damaged rear passenger window. The profanity video continued with a tirade about the city of Adams.

“You were a cop right, you piece of s—? Is that what you do? Is that how you’re keeping the city safe you f—— animal?” Santos asked. “Don’t move to New York, stay the f— away from here.”
However, Fabien Levy, New York’s deputy mayor for communications, was unaware of Santos’ story.

“99% sure you broke into the car yourself” Levy saidvia X. He later added,“update: confirmed with NYPD that the car is a 2018 vehicle and NOT new as you falsely claimed, @MrSantosNY. Also, decided to look up the car (with all the bells and whistles) on @KelleyBlueBook and you overvalued it…but that’s no surprise.”
Santos then responded by saying, “I’m sorry, but when something is new to me, like if I just bought it, it’s new. . . I’m curious if that’s what my taxes are for in New York, investing is a trick. “Will a bureaucrat attack me as a personal citizen on social media?
