Gerhard Struber leaves Barnsley for the New York Red Bulls after setting off a descent break

Barnsley has shown that Gerhard Struber has left the club after 11 months in the rhythm of new New York coach Red Bulls.

Struber kept yorkshire club in the championship against all odds last season by winning his last two games against promotion pursuers Nottingham Forest and Brentford.

The club at the back of the table when the 43-year-old was named and was able to retain second-tier prestige thanks to Wigan’s 12-point deduction.

Barnsley showed that Gerhard Struber had left the club to take over the New York Red Bulls
