Sevilla celebrate the victory of Isaac Romero’s aunt in Getafe / Diego Souto

José Del Pozo

Seville

In a first half full of twists and turns, hero and villain Sergio Ramos headed Sevilla home and then the ball went in to Mata, who took over Getafe.

However, the second moment in the rise of a new star, Isaac Romero, scorer of both Sevilla goals, secured their lead in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey.

The match between Getafe and Sevilla got off to a very productive start for Sevilla when, in the 7th minute, Sergio Ramos became the hero when he headed home a corner taken through Suso. Soria’s indecisiveness at the start allowed Ramos to get ahead in Seville.

No obstante, la alegría se transformó en sorpresa cuando, en el minuto 23, un mal despeje de cabeza de Ramos entregó el balón a Mata del Getafe, quien no perdonó y empató el partido de vaselina.

After the glass, the portion is decanted on one side, the blue. Getafe, led by Greenwood, took second place, applying constant tension and keeping the ball in the opponent’s half. When they visit the Bosques de Sevilla, Getafe prepare to keep up with the moment, which makes it tricky for visitors at the moment.

The second half was destroyed thanks to a brilliant action by Isaac Romero, who has become the figure of the match. In the 48th minute he scored his first game with Sevilla’s senior team, returning with the force of his header to Ocampos’ exact cross.

The fool of the Goal came in the 55th minute, when Sow colluded with the young youth squad to score his second goal of the night, thus consolidating the sale of Sevilla by a goal of three.

Sevilla continued to dominate the match, showing comfort on the pitch and making it difficult for Getafe to respond. In the 60th minute, Soria struggled to catch a hard run by Ocampos outside the box.

Despite some of Getafe’s intentions, such as Óscar’s breakaway in the 89th minute that was softly blocked by Alberto Flores, Sevilla remained firm in their position. The party culminated with a clear chance for Getafe in the 94th minute, when the mayor visited the central domain of Martín. With this victory, Sevilla secure a place in the quarter-finals.

Sevilla FC lost once to Getafe in the Copa del Rey and finished champions, in 2007 and 2010.
