The Giants continue to search for a veteran just before the deadline.
According to Stapleton art in NorthJersey.com, the Giants took the Jon Halapio Center on Monday.
It started in the middle of last year, but broke his Achilles tendon in the final of the normal season.
Halapio, 29, had been with the Giants since 2016, 23 games for them and 15 last year.
It would raise the intensity experienced to a line that needed it, as Nate Solder’s left take decided not to participate in the season due to COVID-19 issues.
The Giants also worked with receivers Jaron Brown and Johnny Holton, as quarterback Jalan McClendon.
