The composition of the hosts provided too many surprises, as the injured Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic were absent again:

The Liverpool team, for their part, had some surprises.
On the side, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip were absolutely excluded from the Reds’ Day team, with Fabinho teaming up with Virgil van Dijk in center defence:

The absence of the two matches is a shock, as Jurgen Klopp did not refer to any fitness disorder at his last press convention on Friday.
