Captain Jack Grealish has signed a new five-year contract with Aston Villa to finalize hypotheses about his future.
The midfielder had been closely associated with Manchester United last season, but has now joined the club until 2025.
He helped Villa in the Premier League last season when they oversafall by a point on the last day.
He told the club’s official website: “I am very happy to make this commitment to the Villa. This is my club, my house and I am very satisfied here. “
“The owners have told me very obviously how ambitious they are and how to build Aston Villa. There are exciting times ahead and I am very pleased to be a component of them.
Grealish, 25, scored 10 goals in matches last season and made his England debut in this month’s 0-0 draw in the League of Nations in Denmark.

He has been with him since he was eight, making his debut in 2014.
General Manager Christian Purslow said: “Jack is an emblem of our owners’ vision for Aston Villa. He joined our club as a local boy and has become one of the most productive players in the country, even though everything fits into a foreign English last week.
“We are determined to build a more sensible team around you and we are very happy that you are extending your contract and committing to the club you love. “
