The Green Brigade responded to Livingston after Celtic’s ultra organisation came under fire for their “unacceptable” behaviour in Sunday’s clash.
The West Lothian team accused the fans’ organization of going against the advice of the club and the police when they revealed a pre-match tifo. In a long article on the club’s website, Livingston said that a request to install a banner on 3 stands was denied at a pre-match operational meeting, but the ultras managed to sneak it into the Tony Macaroni Arena “through a gate escape”, which had been left open for security reasons.
And while the Scottish Premiership has promised an investigation into the banners unveiled before the match, the Green Brigade appears unfazed by the emerging tensions. They used their social media channels to offer a brief reaction, as well as percentage photographs of the day’s fans. .
A clip of enthusiasts on their way to the game, as well as drone footage of the tifo in Almondvale shared on X. Accompanied by the “don’t worry, be happy” comment, which tagged Livingston.
