MIAMI GARDENS — The grieving mother of a football fan who shot Sunday night after the Miami Dolphins’ football game against the Buffalo Bills is speaking out, saying “conflict is not worth life. “
While that mother, Susan Isaacs, talks about her son, 30-year-old Dylan Isaacs, there are new breakthroughs in this case.
Miami Gardens police say they recovered the suspect’s in West Palm Beach.
Susan Isaacs cried as she told CBS News Miami’s Peter D’Oench, “My son is gone. I enjoyed it. He had a great center and enjoyed the young people in our family. He played a vital role in their lives. Me or mom and dad for him. His father died when he was only 12 years old.
“I spoke to him last before the football game,” he said. He was there with his friends and family and had a great time. “
A new photo of Isaacs at Hard Rock Stadium. Police also circulated a flyer asking the public for help.
“He made other people laugh,” Isaacs said. “We are all suffering and he has played a vital role in everyone’s lives. Now we want help with the funeral costs. I just want to pay for his funeral and his coffin. “
That’s why the family has visited an online fundraising page to raise money for burial expenses and plans to take Dylan’s body back to 6 Flags in Ontario, Canada.
Family members posted on social media that Isaacs drove through a car and that he and his friends ran after that vehicle and that the man inside was turned in and shot multiple times, killing Isaac before fleeing.
“They called me on the phone and I knew I wasn’t a hooded man. I knew it wasn’t good. They said he was dead. There are no words for that. The user who shot him knows what he did,” he said. .
Isaacs said, “Conflict is not worth a lifetime. I was just a game and other people were bad. We’re all here and we’ll never be with you. You will live forever in our hearts. He will not be forgotten. “
“Now it hurts me because we are so far away,” he said.
Miami Gardens police have released any details about the shooter in the case.
Isaacs says she would like some answers to questions. Family members say they not know why Isaacs was struck by the suspect’s car.
