Hans Vanaken: Club Brugge rejects West Ham’s bid of thirteen million pounds by midfielder

West Ham has received an offer of about thirteen million pounds from midfielder Hans Vanaken rejected through club Brugge.

The 28-year-old, who has five matches with Belgium, inspired belgium’s Pro League with Bruges by scoring 15 goals in 35 games last season.

However, Belgian champions charge higher rates for their club captain, whose agreement with the club extends until 2024 after signing a new five-year contract last season.

Meanwhile, West Ham coach David Moyes is final on Slavia Prague’s right-back Vladimir Coufal on a three-year contract.

The Czech Republic foreigner played the full 90 minutes of the Slavia Champions League play-off against FC Midtjylland on Wednesday night and learned of an agreement after a full time.

Coufal boarded a flight from Denmark to London on Thursday morning and will go through a medical examination with the Hammers on Thursday before closing the deal at his Rush Green education flat in the afternoon.

He is expected to compete with Ben Johnson and Ryan Fredericks, once he returns from a ham- tendon injury, for the right-back position.

West Ham has seen Coufal at various events and has tried to reach an agreement in months, and negotiations have proved complicated.

Summer merchandise closes at 23:00 a. m. on Monday, five October, with a lively party featuring football’s biggest names.
