In the most recent episode of the Italian football podcast, co-hosts Carlo Garganese and Nima Tavallaey talk about whether Juventus stepped up or regressed to last season.
The Biaconeri took the crusade in a big way and kept up their pace with league-leading Inter until the end of January, before suffering a sudden collapse.
However, Tavallaey believes the club is showing signs of improvement this season. The journalist claims that Juventus demonstrate more progressive football and credits Max Allegri for the emergence of players such as Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie.
On the other hand, Garganese insists that the team has not taken any steps forward, backing up his argument with statistics, scoring worse points, fewer goals and a more elusive defense.
