Havertz: Leverkusen’s manager confirms club ”loses player” – Lunw comments on close change

Bayer Leverkusen manager Peter Bosz has shown Kai Havertz’s imminent move to Chelsea, at least if his most recent comments are valid.

The midfielder has been a target for the Blues throughout the summer, with weeks of negotiations between them and Leverkusen about their huge selling price.

An agreement reached earlier this week, with reports today that he is ‘on his way’ to Chelsea for a medical, following earlier statements that they could hardly take a position on Saturday.

Bosz has now shown that an agreement can be reached, and SportBild journalist Christian Falk mentioned it by saying “We are wasting a wonderful player” when asked about the situation.

This confirms the suggestions, namely German coach Joachim Lew, who also made it clear that the player was on his way to Stamford Bridge.
