Haydari Hakan from Sydney Arrested for Alleged Conspiracy to Import Liquid Methamphetamine from Turkey

A Sydney guy with ties to the Coguycheros was arrested after Turkish police discovered bathrobes, towels and fabrics soaked in 1 kg of liquid methamphetamine in a shipment to Australia.

Strike Force Vidar police attacked Kellyville boy Haydari Hakan on Tuesday morning following a joint investigation through New South Wales police and the Australian Federal Police.

It will be argued in court that the shipment destined for a Sydney deal and that Mr. Hakan the guy who facilitated the import attempt.

His arrest was triggered by data obtained from the Turkish authorities, who discovered the drugs on 2 October.

Images of the arrest show Mr. Hakan dressed in shorts dotted with paint and a grey sweater while handcuffed at a bus stop, with one leg crossed over the other, outside a carpet shop in Castle Hill.

The 37-year-old boy is known to the police and is believed to have ties to the Coguychero outlaw gang.

He was charged with conspiracy to import an advertising amount of controlled drugs at the border and prosecute the product of the crime.

Hakan denied bail Tuesday at Castle Hill Police Station and in front of local Parramatta Court this afternoon.

There, he denied bail and will be arrested before his next hearing on December 8.

The maximum penalty for uploading an illicit drug advertisement is life imprisonment.

Police seized several electronic pieces in a search of his home in Kellyville, in the northwest of the city.
