A grieving guy whose brother, a Liverpool FC superfan, died suddenly, wrote a heartbreaking open letter to the club that gave them such funny memories.
Schoolboy Callum McGarvey, 12, died of an asthma attack at a sleepover with friends in Dublin in July 2017.
Callum buried in a Liverpool blouse with the so-called Sadio Mane on his back and his brother Chris Ryan, his father and uncles carried his coffin through a church while many mourners sang you will never walk alone, the Echo reported.
Inspired by Liverpool’s claiming its first name in 30 years, his brother Chris Ryan, 24, has told how his love for the team has brought them closer together and believes his brother is with him “spiritually” every time he sees the Reds. games on TV.
Describing his brother as his “best friend,” Chris said he sought to share the story of his circle of relatives with the club and other enthusiasts because it would “mean the global for my circle of relatives and especially for Callum in paradise.”
Chris, who has his brother’s call tattooed on his wrist, added: “Liverpool Football Club has given me more than I will ever know.”

I’ve been writing this letter for my brother for 3 years, I’ve been looking to write it, but it’s brought me excessive pain.
It was almost putting the pen on paper, but watching Liverpool win the league after 30 years of waiting gave me the strength, determination and conviction to make my brothers’ story heard.
Callum McGarvey, my brother, my most productive friend and the biggest Liverpool fan I ever met. Time passed in the blink of an eye, and my circle of relatives and I were decimated by his death.
Callum died suddenly and tragically from an asthma attack at a sleepover at his friend’s house. He was 12 years old and had just finished school number one.
It was two weeks before his 13th birthday, when he began his teenage years and his new life in high school.
Liverpool Football Club has given me more than I’ll ever know.
My with Callum were immortalized with a connection like no other. It’s more than a football club, we’re a big family.
It’s a rare thing, but the affiliates and the club are going to perceive it, Callum understood it and felt it himself.
