Believe it or not, it’s been more than 3 years since Tony Romo last played in an NFL game.
Romo played the final play of his NFL career on January 1, 2017, in the Dallas Cowboys’ regular-season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles. Since then, he has moved into the cockpit and is one of CBS’s most popular analysts.
But that doesn’t mean he’s stopped thinking about his love of football. He recently revealed what he lacked to the maximum in the game in Golf. com.
“The festival was a joy,” Romo said. ” But I liked it because I was looking to get better. I used to have the natural joy of going to bed at night thinking I felt better. Regardless, you’re going to see the real edition of what you’ve been looking for. It gave me a wonderful feeling.
Romo’s been playing golf since he left the NFL (he’s pretty smart at that too). And while it’s not exactly the same, it still turns out to fill a void for him.
“With football, I think I took that and changed it (to golf),” Romo said. “Obviously, going out and having another 100,000 people clapping when you score a landing or win a late game, those are rare emotions here.
Romo has discovered a lot of luck outside the football field, but obviously his center remains on the pitch.
