Hernandez Barcos agent downplays rumours that the striker leaves Palmeiras

David Barcos, brother and agent of Hernández Barcos, downplayed reports that the Argentine striker would leave Palmeiras relegated to Italy.

Boats, 28, which joined Palmeiras from LDU Quito in January 2012, excels in the Verdao match against the autumn of last season and recently connected with transfers to Sampdoria, Genoa and Juventus.

However, David Barcos, the player’s brother and agent, went to Twitter to downplay the appointments he had made in an interview with Italian Tuttomercatoweb.com.

In the interview, the agent quoted, saying, “Yes, the concept for Hernandez is not to play in Serie B with Palmeiras.”

“It is a component of the Argentina national team and it is for a team in which it can remain in the best grades and continue to enjoy with the national team”.

However, David Barcos went to social media to clear up any confusion around dating.

“My friends, I said it’s not ideal for Hernandez to play in Serie B for the Argentine team, that’s all.

“He’s got a contract and he’ll do it. Certainly, Palmeiras has worked in combination to get Hernandez to be summoned by variety and we are grateful to him.

In the interview with the Italian website, the agent demonstrated that Barcos had not extended his contract and would transfer from Italian clubs.

“He has a contract until 2014 with Palmeiras and there have been no renovations until 2016. The coming weeks will be decisive for their future.”

“Unfortunately, at this time there are rumors, no Italian club has contacted me and Hernán is attracted to the Italian championship.

“In Serie A, there are many groups that, like my brother, would be thoroughly considered an offer from Italy.

Anyone who takes into consideration taking Boats can touch me, I repeat that we are in a position to consider an imaginable proposal.

Boats has a termination clause in its 15 million euro contract that can defer any interest, but this can be negotiable.

“After the decline, I think this amount is negotiable, the Palmeiras can settle for a smaller offer.”
