Danny Mills has suggested to Tottenham Hotspur pay for unwanted side Danny Rose’s contract.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, former England and Manchester City defender said the club would get rid of its negative influence.
The previous one revealed this week that the Spurs were making plans to offer the fullback a compliment for leaving the club.
Rose was deemed to have outperfied wishes in north London after not receiving a team number and them from their Premier League and Europa League teams.
The England national has entered into the final year of his contract with the Spurs and Mills believes he will play for the club again.
He told Football Insider: “Never say never in football, but it’s highly unlikely. I don’t see that happening.
“I think you’re out of time,” I’d say in Tottenham, there doesn’t seem to be anywhere else for it to come into force.
“It’s a shame, but it happens from time to time.
“If you’re not part of the Premier League team and don’t have much left to execute your contract, what’s the point of keeping that player there?
“You can’t use it, it becomes as pain as much as anything else.
“There has to come a time when you have to control the ball, make a deal and get things done.
“Even if you have to give them all their money, do it, the player will just be there anyway and take it. You better not have that negative influence on the place. “
Rose last played for the Spurs in January and spent part of last season on loan at Newcastle United.
He has played in all 3 Newcastle games for which he is available.
In news, an expert said Harry Kane would be destroyed after Tottenham’s last omission.
