It is almost certain that Florian Wirtz will order Bayer Leverkusen to pay €100 million when he leaves.
The striker has been a sensation for the German club since his appearance, attracting several clubs.
Juventus is one of them, and the Bianconeri will have to fight for players at the end of the season.
Some of the world’s top clubs are keen to get Wirtz away from Leverkusen as soon as possible, and the youngster will make a long-term decision sooner rather than later.
With more and more clubs interested in signing him, it may be difficult for Juve to secure him when the transfer window reopens. However, the Bianconeri may have signed him earlier.
A report on Tuttojuve claims that Juve have been following him since 2021, but they were hesitant due to his €50 million value, which was too expensive at the time.
Now, they would possibly have to pay at least double that payment if they continue with their current interest in signing it.
Juve FC says
Wirtz is a very sensible skill in the making and will continue to be one of the players we can add to our group.
But the youngster is no longer within our reach and we want to sign other players who are still affordable.
