An odd nickname, but one that makes sense when you consider that the club was founded in 1913 by a team of employees from the Philips company, a well-known manufacturer of light bulbs in its early days. PSV are one of the Dutch “big three”. Along with rivals Ajax and Feyenoord, they have never been relegated from the Eredivisie. Very rarely has a club outside of this triumvirate won the league title. Eindhoven has a trophy room full of trophies, adding a hat-trick in 1988 when they won the Eredivisie, the KNVB Cup and the UEFA European Cup (Champions League).

The Eredivisie is one of the ESPN broadcasts of the league, but it does not include each and every game. However, PSV Eindhoven, one of the top 3 teams, still appears every weekend.
UEFA club competitions (Champions League, Europe and Conference League) are broadcast on Paramount in English and ViX in Spanish. Each week, some games are broadcast on television in both languages. You’ll find those games on the channels (CBS, CBSSN, Univision, TUDN) streamed via Fubo and DirecTV Stream.
KNVB Cup matches are broadcast on GolTV. Both Fanatiz and Fubo will offer packages that come with this channel.
