Howard Stern compares George Santos’ early arrival at SOTU to the “Lunatics” in Times Square on New Year’s Eve: “I arrived early for a Primo seat”

Howard Stern still couldn’t laugh that Rep. George Santos got a privileged seat for Tuesday night’s State of the Union address.

On Wednesday’s edition of The Howard Stern Show, Stern talked about President Joe Biden’s speech, but paid close attention to who in the audience.

“The other thing I read is that the liar, George Santos, the guy who lies all the time and they need to get him out of Congress, but he’s not going away,” Stern began.

“That fight of Mitt Romney with George Santos and they started yelling at each other. And I think at some point, does anyone know the precise dialogue? It was, I think Mitt Romney called him a donkey. And then George Santos called Mitt Romney an asshole,” Stern said.

“I think Romney with ‘You don’t belong here,'” co-host Robin Quivers said.

Romney questioned the fact that Santos is looking in the front row and shaking hands with everyone who enters the room because of the problems Santos faces regarding his credibility and lying about his troubled past.

“He will be sitting in the back row and sitting quietly instead of marching in front of the president and the other people entering the room,” Romney told CNN.

“You know what I saw on the news that Santos shows he doesn’t have to do anything. Like early in the day, when they started covering the room, Biden was going to speak. Santos arrived too early to make the most of it. productive point,” Stern said.

“Because, obviously, it’s very loud, like other people are taking each other’s seats and, you know, it came early, like it’s a (Bruce) Springsteen concert,” Stern said. “He tried to make sure he likes it, settled down and in a privileged seat. “

“You know how it was, it’s like before the Super Bowl, like Richard Heeling, like Santos came in for the tailgate party. He had a little barbecue,” Stern said.

As the verbal exchange continued, Stern said, “Do you think he would have sneaked into the State of the Union?”

“But he camped out like one of those crazy people in Times Square on New Year’s Eve. Like him, you know, he has the raincoat. He has a pot to urinate. He doesn’t leave. You know, I don’t know what he’s doing, George Santos, but he came in early for a seat for the first time,” Stern said.

Later in the exhibition, Stern introduced former firefighter Michael Weinstock, whom Santos invited as a State of the Union guest.

Weinstock clarified that Santos was in the room early, not to secure a seat near where the president would cross, but to accompany Weinstock, who uses a wheelchair, to the room before the crowd.
