Hulk for sale, Zenit tells Tottenham

Ottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas’ hopes of reuniting Zenit St. Petersburg striker Hulk are expected to fade after club coach Luciano Spalletti said the Brazilian is not for sale.

Spurs have joined a resolution through the 27-year-old striker, who scored 36 goals in his season with Villas-Boas at Porto.

Hulk is recovering lately from a hamstring injury and Zenit boss Spalletti isn’t in a position to let it go once he’s back in action.

Speaking about the striker’s condition, Spaletti said: “He is recovering quickly. But the precise date [of return], we can’t tell you.

“He has exceptional muscle mass, it’s hard to expect anything.

“Let’s wait for the prognoses of our doctors. And again, the Hulk is for sale. “

Earlier this year, Hulk claimed that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was interested in bringing him to Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho has already seen Spurs in the race to sign a Brazilian this summer, after agreeing to sign attacking midfielder Willian from Shakhtar Donetsk.
