Zenit St Petersburg Hulk striker greeted the new André Villas-Boas after his weekend hat-trick.
The Brazilian scored a hat-trick when Zenit beat FC Krasnodar 4-1 and their joy of running with the Portuguese coach back after the duo effectively reunited in Porto.
Hulk told Sky Sports: “I have the pleasure of running with Villas-Boas in Porto and am pleased to repaint with him.
“After weeks here, I can say that your arrival enlightened us.
“Now we run very hard all week to get into the weekend game in the most sensible way of our game.
“Every day we perceive more and more what our coach expects from each of us and how we play. “
The Hulk is the most sensible on the Russian Premier League’s purpose lists, but insists that he would earn a lot of the name than win that non-public glory.
He added: “I feel a great motivation to win the Russian name this season.
“To be honest, I would definitely win the championship rather than finish the season as the most sensible scorer in the league. “
