Hundreds of new homes may be built near the new Planned Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock.
Proposals recently submitted to Liverpool City Hall show that 210 houses can be built on Lightbody Street, just across the street from the docks of the proposed new stadium.

Liverpool Mutual Homes, now known as Torus, bought the in 2018 and now plans to demolish existing buildings and build two hundred apartments and ten townhouses in the Array.
According to documents submitted to the city council, the new progression would connect to the nearby canal and reconfigure the public area in the area, creating a new public square called Lightbody Square.
The documents read: “The assignment creates a new available road from the canal’s towpath to Great Howard Street, with a new public domain interconnected between the railroad arches and the new construction that forms the “Lightbody Square.”
“The square creates a new public link between the towpath and Lightbody Street, the permeability of the site.
“The railway arches that face them will be renewed to allow advertising use, such as workplaces for artistic companies, which will have the opportunity to be in the public domain.

The documents also imply that the buildings “will be through the implementation of the warehouse architecture” of the surrounding docks.
Liverpool City Council will vote on the offer in the coming months.
