Less than a week after halted all fall sporting events for two weeks, Huntingdon principal Jonathan Kee showed that the school had supported the return date until August 10.
“We allow all of our athletes to resume their activities on August 10,” Kee said. “We feel that with this week off, we could just resume our activities and then start school.”

Football, golf and the cross-country will be allowed to resume the team’s activities on August 10 and the school is scheduled to begin on August 17.
The new start date will allow the football team to complete the 10 educational sessions required before the Week 1 game against McKenzie on August 21.
On Friday, Gov. Bill Lee signed Decree No. 55 authorizing major school sports groups to begin touch practices.
