Noel Whelan insists that Wolves forward Adama Traoré will include a clause in his new contract that will soon be agreed.
Former Leeds United supporter, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, said a new deal would keep the 24-year-old “happy and focused” after the hypothesis about his long run e-year.
Football Insider understands that the end has reached a new four-year agreement under precept that will cause your salary to accrue to 100,000 euros consistent with the week.
Traoré has 3 years left on his current contract at Molineux, having signed a five-year contract when he joined Middlesbrough in 2018.
He revealed that in April Liverpool had decided on Traoré as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane after their remarkable progression last season.
When asked through Football Insider about his opinion on updating the contract, Whelan said:
“If the big clubs looked for it, they would have blocked the cash no matter what I would have charged for getting it.
“He is a Wolves player and very player for his setup.
“He will get a new touch and I am that there will be a clause in that contract that stipulates an amount that a potential suitor would have to pay to buy it. “
“It will be a bigger contract, with more cash and bonuses involved. This will keep Traore satisfied and focused. It’s just that it keeps progressing.
