The third episode of the ORIGINS series, which will be broadcast on fc barcelona’s streaming service, BarcaTVArray features new Portuguese striker Francisco Trinco. This exclusive film transports the viewer to its origins in Viana do Castelo (Portugal), where he was born last December. 29, 1999, and tells how he grew up to become a professional and, nevertheless, signal to Barca this summer.
Produced through Barça Studios, today it is the third in the Barça TVArray series where it will be available in Catalan, Spanish and English and will soon also appear on the club’s classic channel, Barça TV, on DTT in Catalonia. and in subscription channels in the rest of Spain.
The documentary was recorded this summer in places in Portugal that played a role in Trinco’s life, such as his hometown and Braga, where he rose through the ranks of SC Braga. Barca’s studies also spent time in these towns interviewing the player and his family, as well as his friends, coaches and teammates, all with attractive main points to percentages on the player’s life. These exclusive testimonies give us an idea of the more non-public and intimate aspect of the footballer and tell us more about his rise to glory in world football.
“For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a ball on my feet and that’s where my love comes from,” Trinco tells the camera, pointing out his love of football and his ambition to be informed and play to the fullest. His coaches and others close to him verify this when they communicate his dreams, qualities and perseverance.
The 35-minute documentary also examines some of the most difficult stages of his career, such as how he fought at SC Braga to adapt to the transition of the moment to the first team.
The ORIGINS series, which has already included episodes about Arthur and Umtiti, is produced through Barca Studios, the audiovisual factory of FC Barcelona whose other projects have included the documentary series Matchday, about the first blue team of the 2018/19 season, the film El despertar, a fiction series about La Masia written through Albert Espinosa and the animated series Talent Explorers, the last two still in production.
ORIGINS is part of the so-called ORIGINAL category that is presented through the Barca TV platform presented by FC Barcelona on June 3, and which is available internationally on the club’s online page and app and on all gadgets (tablet, smartphone and PC). Thanks to streaming technology, it can also be viewed on a SmartTV or on a classic TV Chromecast.
