In Willian he joins Arsenal

Willian has revealed how desperate David Luiz is for him to industrialize Chelsea for Arsenal and claims he hopes to do “great things” with his Brazilian compatriot at the club.

Striker Mikel Arteta was last week’s first signing of the summer, signing a three-year contract with the North London club after leaving Chelsea.

After betting in a combination abroad and at Stamford Bridge, the pair reunite after only one season after Luiz signed Chelsea to Arsenal with an 8 million pound contract last summer.

With 32-year-old Willian this month and Luiz now 33, the two men head together to the twilight stages of their careers. And after winning 12 trophies combined in England among them, they will be to rise more to Arsenal’s FA Cup triumph this season.

When asked how Luiz reacted to his signing, Willian told Arsenal’s official website: “He [Luiz] is very happy. We played in a combination as a national team, played in a combination at Chelsea and now back at Arsenal.

“We can do wonderful things together, I hope, but I am very pleased to be with him again.

“He said, “Come to Arsenal, come to Arsenal, I need you to come! “So that’s the conversation.

“He’s a great guy, a very sensible player and I’m very excited to play with him again. Of course [it has helped in the past], several times. A lot of times, when I had a hard time in Chelsea, it helped me a lot.

“It’s that kind of user to help, especially in-experience young players. He’s the one who’s helping everybody.

Arsenal also showed the signing of young George Lewis after a previous success check in the year, pending whether they have won the race for lille’s defence Gabriel Magalhaes.
