Inter has scored 81 league goals, up from the meager 57 he controlled in the last campaign.
“Romelu has never played so well, not even in the past,” said head coach Antonio Conte.
The Belgian striker was the first player to reach the net in nine consecutive Europa League games, surpassing Alan Shearer’s 8 with Newcastle in 2005.
The purpose of Lukaku’s season allowed him to cross the 30th mark for the first time in his career.
“I’ve been looking to win since I was a kid,” Lukaku said. “I said I’d give anything for this team.
“We are a wonderful team, my teammates help me a lot, otherwise I could not do those things and succeed in the numbers … my teammates are looking for me. We’re all doing well together.”
Inter reached their first European semi-final since 2010 when they won the Champions League as the Serie A and the Italian Cup to complete a historic hat-trick.
He retained the Italian Cup the following year, but has since checked to lift the cutlery.
The Nerazzurri will face Shakhtar Donetsk or Basel in the semi-finals on Monday.

“We may have simply passed in a more comfortable way because, even though we never had to dig, the result was close,” Conte said.
“It’s hard to be upset. I can only congratulate the boys on their performance. As is the case after one and both games, we will analyze the scenario and see where we can improve.”
