Inter Milan’s academy director Massimo Tarantino admits that the decision to sign for a Serie C side is not on the immediate agenda.
It has been suggested that Inter could be limited to Juventus when it comes to signing a reserve team in the lower divisions.
But Tarantino told TVPlay: “Inter always have in mind the possibility of improving the training path of their players, but the second teams are a demanding step, we know Serie C well.
As soon as Inter get the chance, they will take it into account. Offering this is part of the club’s DNA.
The vision is to continue with the positive things done so far, Inter has a wonderful tradition. We need to try to raise the bar, the concept is one of the most productive clubs in terms of training young players.
There is a “funnel” in the team of 25 guys, some go to the Lega Pro, others to Serie B, and then the most sensible of those who go to Serie A. The variety is fierce. “
