Inter Milan are among the clubs that could rush to sign Boca Juniors defender Nicolas Valentini in the summer transfer window.
Italian outlet Gazzetta. it reports that the Nerazzurri could sign the 23-year-old for a reduced fee, given that his contract with Boca expires at the end of December.
Valentini is a player who has a recent contract with Boca until the end of December this year.
And that could turn the Argentine into an opportunity for this summer.
Alternatively, Valentini could very well leave Boca in a sluggish move in less than a year. That would be imaginable if the Argentine giants fail to increase the player’s contract or money this summer.
But according to La Gazzetta, Boca would be willing to sell Valentini at a discounted price this summer.
Valentini has been an Inter player for some time now.
The 23-year-old was one of the players that Nerazzurri sporting director Dario Baccin saw while he was in South America to monitor the youngsters’ ability in December last year.
Baccin is the person leading Inter’s exploration operations in South America.
The Nerazzurri’s predilection for the continent’s young players is no big secret.
For example, Inter signed their captain Lautaro Martinez from Racing Club. This is the ultimate recent success.
And the courtship between Inter and Boca is positive.
However, according to La Gazzetta, the Argentinian club took over a €10 million order for Valentini Inter’s latest order.
But with the defender’s contract situation, that number will most likely drop this summer.
La Gazzetta reports that Inter are one of the big clubs that deserve it.
However, according to the newspaper, a dozen clubs between Italy, Spain and England have Valentini as their target.
