Inter Milan renew Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s contract until 2026

ISTANBUL

Inter Milan confirmed on Saturday that Henrikh Mkhitaryan has renewed his contract with the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2026.

“I’m happy. Inter have given me a lot in the last 18 months and I need to give even more. I hope to win a lot of trophies with this club,” Mkhitaryan said after the signing ceremony.

Mkhitaryan helped Inter Milan win the Coppa Italia and Super Coppa Italia in 2023.

“With the way he’s helping to drive the team forward and the tactical intelligence he possesses, it’s like having an extra player. And that will continue to be the case in seasons to come. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Inter, in combination until 2026,” he said.

The 34-year-old has played for Pyunik Yerevan, Manchester United, Shakhtar Donetsk, Roma and Borussia Dortmund.

The Armenian midfielder played 73 games for the Serie A club, producing seven goals and seven assists. He won the 2017 Europa League title with Manchester United.
