Bayern Munich striker Hakan Calhanoglu has made it clear that he is “extremely happy” at Inter Milan despite transfer links.
The 30-year-old addressed the hypothesis about his long career in a post on his Instagram account. He expressed his preference for “winning more trophies” as a Nerazzurri player.
In recent days, there has been a lot of speculation about the future career of Inter midfielder Calhanoglu.
The Turkish outside would be a target for German Bayern Munich.
The Bavarians have reportedly already contacted their agent Calhanoglu. The 30-year-old has already been presented with a four-year contract.
Meanwhile, there has yet to be a formal offer from Bayern to Inter.
However, it is possibly not far away.
And in recent reports, massive figures are circulating. Inter would like to receive a payment of €70m to let Calhanoglu go, but Bayern would possibly be willing to offer that amount.
Of course, the resolution of the player involved would also be decisive.
Inter are unlikely to stand in Calhanoglu’s way if he decides to leave.
But, on the other hand, if the Turk decides that he should stay at Inter and decides based on Bayern’s interest, no agreement will be reached.
And Calhanoglu himself shared his thoughts.
“In light of the recent rumours circulating in the media,” writes the former AC Milan midfielder.
“I would like to take this opportunity to face the stage directly. “
