Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has commented on rumours that he will swap Italy for Germany and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
The Turkish foreign captain connected with a technique from the German giants, with reports in Turkey suggesting a €70m proposal on the way to San Siro.
Calhanoglu was born and raised in Germany, so the connections aren’t all that surprising, but the 30-year-old decided to post a comment about his long career through his social media.

“So far I have refrained from commenting on the hypothesis that my current goal is still to be the captain of the Turkish national team for Euro 2024.
“However, I think it is now convenient to make it transparent to avoid further misunderstandings.

This Calhanoglu thing is pretty transparent about how he sees his long-term career and it turns out that he dismisses any hope Bayern might have of trying to capture his signature.
The midfielder signed through Inter as a free agent when he left through Milan city rivals in the summer of 2021 and has flourished in a familiar environment at San Siro, betting on a deeper role for coach Simone Inzaghi.
