Inter goalkeeper Daniele Padelli has signed a new contract to remain at Serie A until the end of the 2020–21 campaign.
The previous 34-year-old’s contract expired at the end of last season, but he has now agreed to remain until June 2021.
Padelli has played eight matches in three years in San Siro since he arrived from Turin, one of those who arrived at the Milan derby in February after Samir Handanovic broke his finger.
Inter showed the news in a short film on its official online website on Monday.
He is expected to be the third goalkeeper on this crusade, Serbian teenager Filip Stankovic and undisputed number one Handanovic.
Antonio Conte’s men, who finished in Serie A last season and reached the Europa League final, continue their pre-season show against Lugano on Tuesday.
