MILAN – Inter Milan reached an agreement with Barcelona to sign Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal for 1 million euros ($1. 17 million) in a permanent deal, both announced on Tuesday.
Vidal, who came to Barça from Bayern Munich in 2018, will meet Inter coach Antonio Conte, who signed him for Juventus in 2011 and remained until 2015.
“The Italian club will pay Barcelona 1 million euros in variables,” Barcelona explains in a statement.
“Barcelona wishes to express publicly its appreciation to Arturo Vidal for his commitment and determination and wishes him all the future. “

Vidal played 96 games for Barca in two seasons, scored 11 goals and offered 10 assists in all competitions, the Spanish team won the name La Liga in 2018-19.
In an article on his website, FC Barcelona said: “(Vidal) will be remembered for the goal he scored against Real Madrid that ended with a magical 5-1 victory of the Blaugranas at Camp Nou.
