October 20 – The Internazionale, Series A giants, has continued the expansion of its Inter Academy program with two new sites in Russia, Moscow and Novosibirsk, added to its existing center in St. Petersburg.
Inter Academy Moscow and Inter Academy Novosibirsk have been created in partnership with Golden Ball 2010 LLC, which will manage both sites, first under the supervision of Italy through webinars to provide education to local coaches and young players.
“The launch of these two new assignments [in Russia] represents a vital step in the progression of Inter Acadmey’s allocation worldwide, as well as the consolidation of our presence in Russia,” said Alessandro Antonello, CEO of FC Internazionale Milano.
Inter Academy now has centers around the world in Belarus, China, Indonesia, Japan, Lebanon, Brazil, Uruguay, Slovakia and Hungary. The club says it has more than 20,000 young players, 450 coaches and 30 Italian coaches involved in the assignment – in China, the club has seven academy assignments.
