STORY THOUGHTS
Speaking about the game, Inter coach Antonio Conte said:
“We played Bayer Leverkusen’s last game last Monday.
“Now we have a game opposed to Shakhtar, a very smart team, a strong team with players, technical players, talented players.
“We have to pay close attention to them, they are very good.
“But it’s a semi-final, and when you get to that point in the competition, [it’s going to be] a very intense, very complicated match.
“I believe that for each and every coach, the purpose is to lift a trophy.
“It’s simple because there are other groups that have the same idea.
“But at the same time, I think our season is a very smart season.”
