FANS were baffled during Jordan Henderson’s over-the-top birthday party for winning a throw-in.
The English star was motivated when he led a solo press run for Ajax against Eredivisie rivals FC Utrecht.

Henderson wore the Ajax captain’s armband in the 2-0 win over Utrecht and obviously gave everything he could.
In a video shared via Ajax X’s official account, the 33-year-old can be seen chasing a loose ball deep into the Utrecht half in an attempt to regain ownership of his team.
And after intense pressure, the former Liverpool player controlled to force Utrecht goalkeeper Mattijs Branderhorst to miss his clearance and concede a throw-in.
The overall course of the match sent Henderson going wild and celebrating with the Ajax fans at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
The midfielder clenched his fists and screamed at the birthday party before getting back into position and doing his homework.
Fans were speechless in the face of the onslaught of hobby and took to social media to express their opinions.
Someone wrote, “So this is what we’re celebrating now?”
He added: “Possibly the most ‘Jordan Henderson’ I’ve ever seen. “

Others would possibly have jokingly warned that the passionate effort could also have earned Henderson a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for this summer’s European Championship.

Henderson has been in Amsterdam since joining Ajax in January after his poor spell in Saudi Arabia ended.
The former Al-Ettifaq player has captained Ajax in their last two league games and is a more consistent player in coach John van ‘t Schip’s squad.
