“It doesn’t look very good”. . . Jürgen Klopp says Liverpool player was absolutely damaged after the Fulham game

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp claimed that Conor Bradley must have been exhausted in the dressing room after last night’s game.

The 20-year-old produced a classy performance and was even named the Player of the Match. He gave everything last night, and unsurprisingly, he was shattered at the end of the game.

Conor Bradley played his second game of the season last night as Liverpool beat Fulham 2-1 in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.

Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez’s impact off the bench will make the headlines as they were brilliant, but young Bradley had an amazing game too.

He hit the ball, forged without it and, most importantly, worked tirelessly for his team from the first minute to the last.

Jurgen Klopp gave him a big hug on the pitch after the game and you can see how tired the 20-year-old was at the time.

The German praised Bradley after the game and revealed that he was surely injured after a really “intense” 90 minutes.

Klopp said, according to Liverpool’s official website: “I told him before the game that I was waiting for this moment to give him the opportunity. I expected it because when he got injured in preseason, my opinion of him was already there [high] and then he was out for quite some time.

“A wonderful guy. Today was quite an intense day for him. Hopefully someone has to take him home because he’s sitting in the locker room and he doesn’t look wonderful! He gave it his all and it’s wonderful to watch, it’s so wonderful to watch.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the German added: “He’ll sleep well tonight. I’m not sure he’ll go home, he’ll probably go to fall asleep in the locker room. “

“Exceptional. Wonderful, fantastic character, a real talent with top potential, and he is in the right team because everybody loves him and respects him and wants him to succeed.”

Conor Bradley played the full 90 minutes for the second time this season last night.

The Liverpool youngster had an excellent game on the field. He touched the ball 87 times and finished 49 of 56 passing attempts, maintaining a smart passing accuracy of 88 percent.

He also recorded two key passes, one of which was a great chance for Darwin Nunez to score, but the Uruguayan denied through Bernd Leno.

To add to the above, Bradley made six tackles and an interception in his 90 minutes (Sofascore), and we think he fully deserves his Man of the Match award.
