Everton is about to warn Abdoulaye Doucouré of Watford.
The French midfielder component of the Hornets team was relegated to the Championship at the end of last season, and having made clear the player in the beyond that he could leave this summer, gave him an excuse to do so.
Watford, however, needed to let him go through peanuts, which is why discussions with Everton took some time, but now a payment and a contract with the player have been agreed.
According to TF1 journalist Julien Maynard, who on Friday attended on social media that Doucouré will “sign” by the Toffees, and the player is already “on the spot” to do so.
He will put on paper a four-year contract at Goodison Park, with Everton paying Watford an estimated between ’22 and ’25 million euros’.
This is just the beginning of what will be loaded in the coming days for Carlo Ancelotti and company, with Allan del Napoli and James Rodroguez of Real Madrid in a position to follow in doucouré’s footsteps.
