Italian Rome sold for $700 million

Rome. KAZINFORM – Italian club Roma was sold to an American advertising consortium Friedkin Group for 591 million euros (about 700 million dollars).

On a Wednesday, Roma said the club agreed with The Friedkin Group to sell the club, saying that “the transaction is valued at around 591 million euros.”

“I must verify that we have reached an agreement with the Friedkin Group for the sale of AS Roma,” said Italian club president Jim Pallotta.

Pallotta added that the parties have signed contracts and will complete the legal process in the coming days.

“At The Friedkin Group, we are very pleased to have taken the mandatory steps to be part of this iconic city and club. We look forward to complete the acquisition as soon as possible and dive into the AS Roma family,” Dan said. Friedkin, CEO of Friedkin Group.
