“It’s a wonderful feature across the board,” Amy Gallacher to Celtic hat-trick hero | football

Celtic FC Women dominated Partick Thistle as the Ghirls cruised to a 6-1 victory on their return to Excelsior Stadium. The gap between Celtic and Rangers remains at 4 points, and our rivals also won today.

We discovered an early goal when Amy Gallacher opened the scoring with 4 minutes to go. Ashworth-Clifford, back in the XI for the first time since returning from injury, won the ball and sent it to Gallacher in the box. the mail and I went in.

Murphy Agnew tried to run with a fumble, but Thistle’s goalkeeper was delivered first and delivered it to his feet. Agnew, however, was relentless and stole it from the goalkeeper, before locating the back of the net from a tight angle.

Gallacher scored a brace when the ball landed at his feet. She remained calm and knocked before sending him past the guard. They received a lifeline when Cara Henderson pulled one out, but their hopes were temporarily dashed when Tash Flint hit home.

There wasn’t much action to speak of in the second half, but as time went on, we scored two more goals. Jenny Smith, who came off the bench, made an impact as she fired a shot from the edge of the goal. Área. La Scotland’s foreign idea the goalkeeper may have prevented him from getting in, but to his delight, the ball crossed the line.

To cap off the performance, Gallacher scored a hat trick with 4 minutes remaining. Kit Loferski sent a low, rolling ball into the box that eluded all Hibs defenders and eventually fell at Gallacher’s feet. The striker couldn’t have had a less difficult performance. Finally and coldly he changed the shot.

Hat-trick hero Amy Gallacher spoke to Celtic TV after the game. He said: “It’s a wonderful feature across the board and it’s smart to get 3 points. It’s a pleasure to play in this team, the team creates a lot of chances and I’m satisfied to have scored the 3 goals and especially the 3 points.

“This is a tough game, but we’ve been applying tactics all week and now we’re getting used to Elena’s game plan. We’re a team that likes to score goals, we’ve got goalscorers all over the park. We really enjoy betting with each other and hopefully we can continue to do so.

Elena Sadiku also spoke to Celtic TV after the win and said: “We are satisfied with the first half but not satisfied with the second half because we believe we deserve to have gone further. It’s a smart feeling, as a coach, to stay there and be a bit disappointed, in the sense that we deserve to have attacked a lot more at the moment. I’m proud when women feel it too because we need more. This is a smart sign and we are making progress. It shows in the performance.

“We played the game well and deserved to score that goal from the start, but I’m also pleased with the way we reacted. We scored the first goal, but we wanted to score another and another. That’s what makes me proud to be here after the game.

“What I really appreciated today was that we created a lot of chances with open play, it wasn’t just set-pieces now. I think we’re strong from set pieces, we’re going to keep it that way, but now we’re creating opportunities with open play and it’s amazing to see.

Keeping the hole in four things is the most important thing, and we did. We put ourselves in a clever position going into the division and this functionality says a lot about what this team is capable of.

Our first game after the split will be on March 17 at St Patrick’s against Rangers, but before that we have an away draw in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals against Montrose. There’s a lot to look to the future to get to the final part of the season. Let’s hope we can make it to the end!
