Erling Haaland says hearing Borussia Dortmund enthusiasts sing their call on the famous ‘yellow wall’ was one of the most important moments of his life.
Haaland arrived in Dortmund from Salzburg in January, having already scored 28 goals in all competitions, adding 8 in the organizing phase of the Champions League.The Norwegian foreigner made an impact by scoring a hat-trick after coming off the bench on his debut.
His form in Europe also continued, with the young man assisting himself in a double in the 2–1 win over Paris Saint-Germain, he was unable to help Dortmund progress as the Bundesliga team collapsed in Paris before football closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In an interview with Dortmund’s official website, Haaland, who is also closely related to Manchester United, spoke of his admiration for the reception he won from local enthusiasts at Signal Iduna Park.
“To be fair, it was one of the most important moments of my life,” said Haaland, who revealed that he spent much of his time training, meditating and playing.FIFA 20.
“When that happens, it’s fair and indescribable. He puts on goose bumps.Seeing the [yellow] wall and all the enthusiasts is just amazing.It’s one of the biggest emotions you can have.”
Haaland’s incredible form is compared to modeler Dortmund star Robert Lewandowski, the 19-year-old has selected two other star names as his idols.
“I had a lot of idols when I was a kid,” he added.” [But if] I have to call two players, [they would be] Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.”
Haaland is one of Europe’s most sought-after and highest-rated footballers and was proposed to charge a payment for a record world movement when, however, he left Dortmund.
In a live Instagram interview with Corriere della Sera, former Italian heatmaker Christian Vieri said: “Haaland is the most powerful of them all and has done well for Borussia Dortmund, the most productive club to showcase his talent.In a few years, he will leave, to a formidable team, two hundred million euros (175 million pounds), perhaps three hundred million euros (262 million pounds).
Dortmund are a moment in the Bundesliga, the four-themed leader, Bayern Munich, with the German Football League ready to resume the season in May.
However, matches must be played behind closed doors, as giant gatherings are prohibited in Germany until at least 31 August.
