Jadon Sancho scores his first Champions League goal since 2021 when Dortmund beat PSV to reach the quarterfinals.

Jadon Sancho scored his first Champions League goal in more than two years on Tuesday as Borussia Dortmund beat PSV Eindhoven 2-0 in the second leg of the round of 16.

Marco Reus scored in Germany and Dortmund won 3-1 on aggregate after a 1-1 draw in the Netherlands last month.

Dortmund have reached the quarter-finals of Europe’s biggest club festival in another 10 seasons.

Sancho, whose last UCL goal scored for Manchester United in a 2-0 win over Villarreal in November 2021, opened the scoring in 3 minutes on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old loanee discovered it with a low shot from 23 yards that hit the post as he entered.

PSV had plenty to equalise before Reus, after replacing Sancho in the second half, equalised in the 95th minute.

Reus shot over goalkeeper Walter Benitez after a costly mistake by Isaac Babadi.
