Jadon Sancho may not be the only Manchester United player set to move to Borussia Dortmund in January, as the German club have also made moves to see if they can nab full-back Sergio Reguilon, according to reports.
Sancho has not played for Man Utd since Aug. 26 due to a public war of words with manager Erik ten Hag. Both sides are stubborn and refuse to accept their actions, so the scenario is not resolved.
He recently warned that Sancho needs to revive his career at Man Utd, despite the dispute with Ten Hag and the fact that he has struggled since his move from Dortmund to Old Trafford in July 2021.
When asked recently about the winger’s possible return to the team, Ten Hag said: “What will happen there, he knows what he has to do, if he needs to come back, it’s up to him. “

It is understood that the new minority owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, needs Ten Hag and Sancho to sit down and discuss their differences, but it remains to be seen if that will happen.

There have been rumours of a big transfer deal between Sancho and Dortmund striker Donyell Malen. But Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl put an end to those claims, suggesting that the Englishman will most likely return directly to Dortmund. Loan transfer.
Such a move would give Sancho the opportunity to play and also regain full confidence. He was brilliant in his first spell in the Bundesliga, scoring 50 goals and providing 64 assists in 137 games. And Sancho could get help in Dortmund by betting alongside Reguilon. .

The left-back is currently on loan at Man Utd from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, having been an emergency signing following injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
But it is not guaranteed that Reguilon will spend the full season at Man Utd, as there is a break clause in the loan agreement which means he can head back to Tottenham in January.
The Mirror state that Ten Hag wants to keep the Spaniard, even though Shaw is now back fit. He feels that letting Reguilon go would put Man Utd at greater risk of another defensive injury crisis.
However, it is possible that Reguilon will end up leaving “against Ten Hag’s will” as Dortmund have contacted Spurs about a possible loan for him.
If Spurs feel the 27-year-old would gain advantages by moving to Germany and playing more regularly, then they could end his time at Man Utd early and strike a new deal with Dortmund.
Reguilon is unlikely to return to north London and join the team led by Ange Postecoglou. In fact, the manager has selected Destiny Udogie as his first-choice left-back, with Ben Davies as his replacement.
It would make sense for Spurs to send Reguilon to Dortmund. He could shine in the Bundesliga and thus increase the value of his move, which would allow Spurs to sell him for a higher payment next summer.
