Jess Iszatt is his dream.

Jess, a radio DJ by profession, has now taken his skill directly to audiences and now plays festivals and venues across the country; however, none are as special to her as Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Yes, in the last year Jess has moved from the studio to the stadium as she played in front of our fans at many of our games in the 2023/24 season.

Ange Postecoglou noticed that our N17 space was adapting to something like a nightclub last season with the good atmosphere that echoed around our 62,850-seat bowl, and Jess is one of the figures that vibrate.

And, as a huge Spurs fan, the opportunity to play her role at the club is everything I could dream of a few years ago!

This week, he spoke to Andy Greeves on this weekend’s programming about his career and his DJ sets at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

First of all, can we ask you why you are a Spurs fan?

Jess: “My grandfather was a Spurs fan, as was my father and his brothers. I also grew up in Hertford and almost everyone there helps Spurs. . . apart from a few other people who help some other team that we won’t mention. !

“I had my first match when I was 8 or nine years old. I don’t know who we were playing against, but it would have been in the early 2000s and Teddy Sheringham scored the only goal that gave us a 1-0 win. . I was so excited, I jumped up and down, while my brother didn’t get upset and never watched any games again after that, I definitely solidified my prestige as a dad’s wife that day!

“I still like to come to the fits. I’m lucky enough to live 25 minutes walk from the ground. I can see the stadium from the balcony of my house. I love walking because it reminds me of the first time I went to the fits. the game with my dad. The magical feeling of entering the stadium on a fit day never goes out of style.

What have been your favourite moments supporting Spurs over the years?

Jess: “I was able to live my dream by DJing at the North London Women’s Derthrough last season, which we clearly won!Every time I’ve DJed at a Spurs women’s game, we never lost, which I just conveyed. There! One of the games I played in the women’s FA Cup semi-final against Leicester, when Martha Thomas scored the winning goal. It was an amazing moment.

“As for the men’s team, my favourite moment was Lucas Moura’s hat-trick against Ajax (in the 2019 Champions League semi-final). Before he left, Moura was my favorite player. In addition to being a wonderful player, he had a smile on his face. I don’t forget that he scored in his last game for us (in the 4-1 win at Leeds in May 2023) and I really cried with happiness. A goal in his last game was the legacy he deserved. his incredible moment at Spurs.

Who are your Spurs players at the moment and why?

Jess: “Sonny and (Cristian) Romero are my two favorites. I had the chance to speak very briefly with Sonny after a game last season. I am originally from Southeast Asia; My mother is Malay and Malay, Chinese and Thai. Blood: I think Sonny has replaced a lot of stereotypes about Asians in the United Kingdom and that’s vital for me and the player he is.

“I play a lot of hockey and I can see a lot of my power in the hockey area in the way he plays. Also, I love when Pedro Porro scores an aggregate goal and I have a lot of time for Micky Van.

What do you think of Ange Postecoglou’s first season with the Spurs team last season?

Jess: “I can’t say a bad word about Ange. She sure was fantastic for us. Having played a lot of team sports, I appreciate the way she protects her players, especially in front of the team. I also completely respect the fact. “She has a plan and a philosophy and sticks to them. From a fan perspective, it was smart to watch football last season. “Last season, if I could watch one team play, it would be Spurs and I completely understand why. “

What are your hopes for this season?

Jess: “Winning the silver medal would be amazing, but I also appreciate how complicated it can be. I need to see us continue to play exciting football that makes us get out of our seats. I feel that we are competitive against the groups of the “Most Sensible at the Table”.

Harry Kane and Eric Dier are likely to return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium today. What do you think of his possible return?

Jess: “It’s going to be emotional to see you again, isn’t it?They were Spurs players and while it was a shame to see them go, it was also smart to see the success they had at Bayern. “.

Can you tell us a little bit about your career as a presenter and DJ so far?

Jess: “My adventure started with NSR (Newcastle Student Radio) when I was a student at Newcastle University. I also did stuff at Spark FM in Sunderland when I was there before heading back south. I started volunteering at BBC Three Counties in Luton. and I did one day a week at BBC Introducing in Essex, then I finally moved to the London exhibition. It was in 2016 when I was assigned my first on-air assignment with Magic Chilled, which I still do now. I did the exhibition in London in 2019 and things took off from there.

“I didn’t start using the turntables until after the lockdown, although I had already been taught how to use them before. It’s been an exciting summer for me as I’m DJing in Ibiza for the first time. . I’m also a DJ at Boardmasters. Festival – a special festival for me as it was the first one I went to with my friends as a teenager – and at Creamfields, I was also a DJ for London Spirit for The Hundred.

“I’ll be finishing the festival season just before the football season starts, which is great. I can’t wait to start the new season and I can’t wait for my next game against Spurs!”
