Reds captain Jordan Henderson revealed Thursday that Liverpool would concentrate on winning and the 2020–21 season. The Reds are completing a pre-season education camp in Austria and are expected to return to action on Saturday when they face Arsenal on Saturday at the FA Community Shield.
Henderson believes the Reds’ mindset will be the key to their tireless quest for success, as they did last season when they were the winners of the Premier League title.
“Going backwards, improving, being better, maintaining that desire, hunger and competitiveness as we have shown in recent years,” Henderson told Liverpool when asked what the team’s theme will be for 2020-21. Just to go on and win as many trophies as possible, because we’ve shown that in recent years we’ve been a sensible team.
“But all this is due to the harsh paintings and determination that have been completed during the season or for two, three, 4 years, no matter how many years you need to spend back, each day of education was high, 100%.”
