Liverpool’s players return to pre-season this week as stars who have played in their respective overseas groups return to Merseyside.
The likes of Darwin Nunez, Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Fabinho return to the AXA Training Center on Saturday. Tuesday marks the return of Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and new recruits Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.
And new faces may not stop there. Romeo Lavia remains a player of interest and reports suggest Liverpool are moving on for the Southampton midfielder.
Meanwhile, captain Jordan Henderson faces rumours about his long career after new additions to the midfield. Reports recommend that Steven Gerrard, who recently appointed manager of Al Ettifaq, needs to bring the midfielder to the Saudi Pro League.
