Jordan Hfinisherson ‘in complex talks with Juventus over loan’ as he looks to end Saudi nightmare

JORDAN HENDERSON is reportedly in advanced talks to sign for Juventus, just six months after arriving in Saudi Arabia.

The former Liverpool captain is set to leave the Gulf State and now looks set to make his wish come true.

It comes after Alfredo Pedulla reported that Henderson is at an “advanced stage” in talks to seal a loan deal to Juventus.

The deal will see the 33-year-old sign up for an 18-month loan.

A clause in the deal will allow the deal to be scrapped in June.

However, Juventus manager Max Allegri will “approve” the player, with Henderson being the club’s number one target in January.

Club officials will also be happy to know that financially struggling Serie A will pay a fraction of the midfielders’ salaries.

Henderson earns a whopping £692,000 per week, or £36 million per year, with Al-Ettifaq in existence.

But the elderly lady will pay £1. 3 million of her salary to close this excellent deal.

In addition, Juventus will pay a loan fee.

Firstly, Henderson left the Premier League and Europe this summer to sign former Reds team-mate Steven Gerrard in a £12m transfer.

But failing to score and seeing the club embark on a nightmare run that left them eighth in the Saudi Pro League, the English left.

SunSport revealed last week that Henderson had told some teammates that he had made a big mistake in moving and was looking to return to England.

Players from the likes of Newcastle, Chelsea and a return to Liverpool were up for grabs, with reports also indicating that he was being tracked through a host of European clubs, including Celtic, Ajax and Bayern Munich.

However, it now seems Juventus will win the race to sign the ex-Sunderland star.

Meanwhile, Al-Ettifaq wasted no time compiling a list of potential replacements, with Prem stars Joe Gomez and Joel Matip included in his summer shortlist.
