Chilean game creator Jorge Valdivia invited Palmeiras through the club after it became known that his move to the Middle East with Al Fujairah had not ended as planned.
The 30-year-old midfielder has reportedly reached an agreement to sign for the United Arab Emirates. and had left the Sao Paulo club with those intentions on both sides.
But according to data from the Brazilian news lancenet.com, the documents have not been finalized and, as such, Palmeiras needs his boy to start his studies with them again, after paying his salary for the month of July.
He hasn’t trained for weeks, having had a break in North America, and his agent Wagner Ribeiro declined to comment on lancenet.com his situation.
Valdivia had two stints at Palmeiras, for the club for a six-year-old general and winning Paulista Championship, Copa do Brasil and Serie B.
